Meet the Students

Tarryn Nichols is an undergraduate journalism student at the University of Florida. Her interests include philosophy, poetry, permaculture and environmental conservation.

Oliver Wood is an undergraduate student at Florida State University majoring in English with a specialization in literature, media, and culture. His interests include sociology, political philosophy and environmental conservation.

Isabelle Alegria is a writing student at Florida State University partnered with Ashira Morris of the Florida Student News Watch.

Des Lewis is an English major at Florida State University pursuing a career in journalism and interned with the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C.

Noah Bookstein is an undergraduate student at Florida State University majoring in creative writing and international affairs. He is from New York and his interests include science fiction, philosophy and sustainability.

Annamarie Simoldoni is a journalist and researcher based in South Florida. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Editing, Writing, and Media. Her research has appeared in The Nation and City & State Florida. She is now serving as the Editor for the FSNW Legislative Reporting Unit. 

Ananda is taking a gap year from Stanford University and is a student based in North Florida. His interests include sustainability, government accountability and social justice efforts.
